At the NC State commencement activities in May, 13 new students were awarded B.S. degrees in Paper Science & Engineering. Of those 13, 4 also received degrees in Chemical Engineering, while 2 received B. A. degrees in Chemistry.
When added to the 7 students receiving degrees in December 2007 and two students receiving degrees in Summer 2008, a total of 22 students were graduated with PSE degrees in the 2007-2008 academic year.
Job placement was 100 %, with most students receiving multiple offers and attractive signing bonuses. Forecasts call for a continued strong job market.
